Habitat for Humanity of Whitley County
Women Rising To The Challenge
Thousands of Women across the country will join together for National Women Build Week April 30th - May8th.  Habitat for Humanity and Lowe's is seeking female volunteers to build homes with low-income families.  In the days leading up to Mother's Day, construction crews of female volunteers will raise their hammers at Habitat for Humanity construction sites across the country in recognistion of National Women Build Week.  

Lowe's and Habitat for Humanity of Whitley County are looking for local women to volunteer for a day at the W. Ellsworth Habitat construction site during this event.  Our local build dates are Monday May 2nd thru Saturday May 8th from 8am to 5pm.  Construction and/or home improvement experience is not necessary to participate.  Please note that parking is available at DeVol Field Park.  Please do not park in front or behind Krider's Meat Market.

If you feel that physical limitations keep you from the build site, contact the office to see how else you might be able to help contribute to the Women Build projects.

Lowe's  is the National underwriter of the Women Build projects across the nation.
